Pleumeur-Bodou (FRANCE TELECOM)

Since 1962, right in the middle of the moors, the seven parabolic antennae at the telecommunications station have been receiving signals from Intelsat and Inmarsat (22,700 miles over our heads). Right next door, you can visit the center's radome; a big white sphere that is over 160 feet tall, kept inflated with a blower.

Trébeurden

You can go fishing on foot all the way out to the island of Molène (low tide). Check out the huge, perfectly round 3 ton rock, sunken into a pothole and created by the force of the tide.
