Just because the islands are so, so beautiful! Contrary
the islands of American Samoa, Western Samoa have been
able to escape the effects of mass tourism. You'll find
traditional Samoan culture with its gorgeous landscapes
as a backdrop. The vegetation is lush, the beaches covered
with fine, white sand and the water is warm and turquoise
blue.
What to see!
Upolu and Savaii, the two main islands and Apia the
capitol.
The famous Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson's house in Vailima
just to the north of Apia.
The beach in the film "Return to paradise",
south of Opulu, which really lives up to its name.
The trip from the airport to Apia along one of the most
beautiful roads in the Pacific, bordered on one side
with white beaches and on the other by palm groves.
All the beaches are absolutely beautiful......
