If you take the pedestrian street west of the square, you'll come right to the Paseo del Prado, the street with the most shops in town underneath nice colonnades. Then, by turning right, toward Jagua Bay Prado turns into Malecon once you reach Gorda Point, the former posh neighborhood in Cienfuegos.
