FISHING IN LIFOU

In Luengoni, the
little chief of the tribe, Noël Pia, will take you fishing
on the lagoon. Equipped with a speargun, flippers, snorkel and mask,
it's up to you and your own dexterity to bring in the "Big
One". Unless, that is, you prefer just to watch. It's a veritable
underground show: stingrays, sharks, turtles, etc. |

You'll leave Noël's house by boat, to find a good spot out
on the open sea. All you have to do is to look overboard to see
just how many fish there are!

Even the cat gets to eat fish...
Try cooking a parrot fish in a skillet with butter, and serve it
