Pigalle… the secrets and images hidden behind this seven letter
word would trigger anyone's imagination.

La rue de Clichy, Pigalle, is filled with fetishism, sexual desire (sex
shops) and eroticism. Provocative or esthetic, the storefronts are interpellating.
The Moulin Rouge will probably disappoint you, after all its only an excessively
red windmill, but don't worry, the magic and the excitement of this place
are condensed on the inside

The Erotic Museum: A 7 floor journey through sculptures, paintings, gadgets...
Nothing better than a touch of humor to avoid sinking into misery. As
a starter: a look at the showcase. It might not convince you to enter
these premises but it'll definitely convince you to change your furniture:
an exhibited multipurpose chair might be the cause of your sudden desire
to change your interior…(Didn't I mention that Pigalle would tease
your imagination!). For those concerned, the dancing curtains found in
the entryway of the sex shop will likely stimulate your curiosity.
Pigalle's second life: music !

A new business has moved to Piguale. G-strings have given way to guitar
strings, leather boots have given way to copper instruments. On rue Rochechouart,
the instruments on display are of another kind. Brand new or second hand,
all the rubberneck lovers of instrumental jewelry will fantasize on the
guitars, pianos and drums shown on display. Here, braking out from the
many stores, more or less experienced musicians attempt or succeed to
play a series of Do Re Mi: An improvised concert for your ears to enjoy
or suffer.

And if you venture further out towards Barbès, gift shops are
the main players. Miniature Eiffel Tower's, Paris guidebooks.
