Be careful if your traveling in Portugal in June. June is the month
when the most important religious holidays take place. The events monopolize
the attention of its people and temporarily paralyze the country during
this period.
Surfing and windsurfing are very popular sports in Portugal.
The generous ocean provides great waves all up and down the
coast of Portugal, but especially at Estremadura, the coast
west of Lisbon, where you'll find the almost mythic surfing
spot called Gincho.
