The price of a meal can cost you anywhere from 6 to 24 Euros. On the coast, the cost of a starter, main dish, dessert and half a bottle of red wine will be about 6.5 Euros which is about 4£50p or about $8.15.
Spanish wine is often very good and very often less expensive than their neighbors to the north. Ask for Rioja, Pénedes, Carinena.
Good paella is almost brown in color, and it's a lot better if it's a little burnt on the bottom of the pan.
